Jeff Raymer
Head Coach

Coach Raymer has been coaching for 14 years.  He spent 3 years at South Houston HS where he coached the Trojan hitters and infielders.  Raymer was then named the first Head Coach at Emery HS in Houston, Tx.  He spent 2 seasons at the helm of the Jaguar program before taking the Varsity Assistant job at Dobie HS.  Raymer led the Longhorn pitching staff to a tremendous amount of success in his time there and also worked with the programs outfielders.  He received his degree in Marketing from the University of Louisiana.  He was fortunate to be able to play baseball in college, including being a member of the Ragin’ Cajuns baseball program the year they participated in the College World Series in Omaha after spending a season at Paris JC.  This is Raymer’s sixth season at Conroe HS, having already led the Tigers to their highest five year winning percentage in over two decades.  In Raymer's time at Conroe, 18 Tiger baseball players have earned the opportunity to play college baseball, with one former player being selected in the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics.  Raymer is excited to see the continued focused attitude and passion of the Tiger Baseball program show up on and off the field.  He believes this year’s team has the "team first" mentality, and tireless work ethic to have a successful season.

Derrick Taylor
Varsity Assistant

Derrick Taylor has been coaching for 14 years.  He spent his first four seasons as assistant coach at Bellaire High School where he worked with hitters and outfielders. He has been  the Head Coach at Westbury High School, Sharpstown High School, Lutheran North High School, and Head Softball Coach at Waltrip High School for one year. He played his college Baseball at McNeese State University for two years, and Southern University for two years where he earn BS in Journalism. A 2003 Spring Training Invitee of the San Diego padres. Derrick is so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the Conroe Family and hopes to bring lots of energy and experience.

John Kazmierczak
JV Coach

Originally from Illinois, this is Coach Kazmierczak’s second year coaching in the great state of Texas. He started off as the varsity pitching coach at Furr High School. He helped excel the Brahmans to the playoffs while assisting two of his pitchers to play in college. He played his first two seasons at Illinois Valley CC. In his second year there, he was selected to the junior college all star game. He finished his college career at Upper Iowa University while completing his Bachelors in Business. The love of the game helped him to pursue his teaching certification at Northern Illinois University. After completion, he proudly served the Huskies as a graduate assistant in the Exercise Science and Education departments finishing his Masters degree in Pedagogy and Curriculum Development. During this time, he balanced helping to run the sports programs at the YMCA, running a business, baseball lessons along with many other things. He knows what it takes to be successful and is excited about the opportunity to help the Conroe Tigers reach their full potential.
